The scenery consists of the horseshoe-shaped Coco Bay and steep hills and cliffs. It is a good place to have fun but not to rest.
The main attractions are the tourist facilities and hotels and the sun, which shines longer and more brightly here than anywhere else in Costa Rica. In this regard it is worth mentioning, that 16th of April and 28th of August are days when there is the greatest concentration of solar energy per area-unit. It is therefore unwise to sunbath near high noon (11-12). |
