After much discussion with the professional paint company we have hired to paint the interiors and exteriors of the condos, it has been decided to change the exterior color.
The main reasons are that the quality of paint used by Mapache was inferior to the one being used by our paint company and is already fading from the sun from a coral color to a pink color and would need to be repainted again within a year AND we really want our development to look like a higher-end development and not like a typical Costa Rican development and will now look like a seaside village project.
By the middle of April there will be a new huge sign at the front of the development, stating "new ownership" and "80% sold" and with the new look and new sign, will restart the process of selling the "unsold condos" to generate the additional funds needed to complete the project.
Its hard to show colors in pictures however there will be 4 primary colors (light taupe & dark taupe and dark green & medium taupe) and will be switching these colors between the different sections of the condo development.
The infrastructure was started on Monday and the necessary work is underway. Starting next week-end, I will send out pictures of work being done on the jobsite together with a quick update.
We have had a good response from the e-mails sent regarding the request for funds from buyers who were behind in their payments and have had another 6 buyers join the Trust. For those of you have not yet joined the Trust, please reconsider. For those of you behind in your payments, please make your payments as soon as possible. For those of you considering making additional payments on your condo (to the 95% point), this would be greatly appreciated and will keep the project on time within the scheduled timelines.
I am having minor surgery tomorrow and will be out of commission for a few days so if you are sending me an e-mail, may be early next week before I can get back to you. Let me know what you think of the new exterior colors and as always, should you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me ... thanks, DEB
